Students keep a Visible Thinking book where we learn about Visible Thinking Tools to help generate ideas and find solutions.

6 Hat Thinking: Brainstorming Academic, Social and Transdisciplinary Goals

To prepare goals for our 3-way conferences (student, parent, teacher) students brainstormed using their Yellow Hat (strengths) and Black Hat (areas for improvement).

Learner Profile Musical Brainstorm

Students used post-its to share their understanding of the learner profiles before creating posters for our classroom. We played ‘musical brainstorm’ where students moved between the desks to music, and when it stopped they went to the nearest poster and wrote down their thoughts on sticky notes.
